Make a donation - SOS: Save Our Stories

SOS: Save Our Stories is an appeal to raise funds to digitise The Sun News-Pictorial, a major Australian daily newspaper offering unique insights into daily life in Victoria that were not captured in any other publication.

State Library Victoria has always held hard copies and microfiche of this much loved pictorial newspaper, but a recent donation of the master film means we can digitise the 1922–1954 editions and upload to Trove.

Your support will help us save the stories of Victoria during this time and enable everyone to access this rich source of history.
